The Blackburrow Millbird is a parody of The Mill’s Blackbird. When The Mill released their teaser video of Blackbird I saw a prime opportunity to create an aerial version of their adjustable car rig. An aerial rig that can then be used in post to track in phenomenally average digital assets. The great thing is that on a technical level this actually does work and is similar to how we’ve tracked in digital assets in for decades.
The parody was featured on multiple film-making sites and even The Mill themselves got a good chuckle out of it.
